Bronze & Sea Shell Pocketfold Invitations: Pari & Matt

This post has been a long time coming since their wedding was back in June, but in honor of St. Patrick's Day weekend and all the "LUCK" surrounded by it, I wanted to share Pari and Matt's invitations.  When she first told me their love story, I was completely smitten!  It was like from a fairytale; so precious and sweet!  

Surrounding their love, everything seemed to fall on fate and they know they were meant to be. Their song is "Lucky", by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat and each line within that song has so much meaning to them.  So we incorporated their favorite lines on the front flap of their invitations.   

Their real wedding is up next.  I just got pictures back from their big day and I can't wait to share!

Yellow and Bronze Invitations: Wilson Creek Winery

Invitations just went out the studio door for Amy and Steve's wedding.  They're having an elegant, yet rustic wedding in the vineyards at the Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula.  With their colors of yellow and white accented with bronze, they wanted to incorporate their love song, "I can't help Falling in Love with You" on their invitations.  It has special meaning to them so we printed it on vellum along with their engagement photo.  Amy is a sweetheart and it was my pleasure working with this couple!  Congratulations again, Amy and Steve!

Seaside Beach Front Wedding: navy blue and green

Carolyn and Joshua will be tying the knot seaside in front of Tower 23 and I think it's the perfect location for their intimate gathering.  To personalize their weekend destination wedding, they will be welcoming their guests for a night under the stars with a beach bonfire and s'mores!  Sounds FUN!  I know it will be an awesome weekend because they're in the care of creative geniuses Valley and Co.  They rock and I can't wait to see their wedding! Congratulations Carolyn and Joshua!

Kasey and Michael Invitations: Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines

To coordinate with the rest of Kasey and Michael's suite, I incorporated the same double happiness symbol within her invitations.  She plans to use this throughout the wedding which will be a nice representation of the bride.  Their wedding is quickly approaching and it has been wonderful to work with the bride and groom, along with White Lotus Productions and La Dolce Idea. Can't wait until their big day!

Trisha & Donny: E-pics & Invitations

Trisha and Donny did the cutest e-shoot with Anika London. Their pictures turned out great and really showed their personality. As avid travelers, the photo taken down below is one of my favorites! We designed their wedding invitations based on the vintage style their going for. It's going to be a great, big, happy wedding with over 300 guests and their big day is slowly approaching! I couldn't be any happier for them! Congratulations again, Trish and Donny!

Navy blue and white heart damask Invitation: Prado Balboa Park

I've been doing several damask invitations lately and this one I did for Maureen and John is different because it's a heart.  It's definitely striking with their colors a rich navy blue and white.  The outside is adorned with a white satin ribbon that also has the design they will be using throughout their wedding.

To finish off the invitation, they included 2 inserts with the RSVP card as a postcard.

Occasionally we get DIY brides, who choose to do it themselves and Maureen was one of them.  She's already crafty and since she DIY'ed their Save the Dates, she opted for DIY invitations.  With the help of her crafty bridal party, I know they turned out beautifully!  Can't wait for their big day!

Melanie and Robert's Invitations

When I first met with Melanie and Robert, they already had a vision of what they wanted their invitations to look like.  They even had inspiration for their colors taken from a book cover, East of The Sun.  We did some revisions and the final invitation were amazing.  We had them printed in a high glossy finish and inserted into a pocketcard envelope.  

They designed their own save the date postcards and I was so happy when I received one in the mail!  They are the cutest couple... I felt like I knew them with only meeting through Skype!

Navy blue and silver fall invitations: Raelynn & Orlando

Fall is in full swing (even though it's scorching hot today) and I have the perfect invitations for it!  Our bride and groom did something different by having a surprise wedding! With only a couple weeks to get all her paper goods completed, they turned out great for her fall inspired wedding. It's a wonderful idea and a great way to have a smaller intimate ceremony and reception.  

Congratulations Raelynn and Orlando!  We wish you the very best and all the world's happiness!

Karlee & Steve's Invitations: Moss Green & Ecru - Riverwalk Golf Course San Diego

Karlee knew she wanted something different for her paperie suite and she definitely got it!  Remember their Save the Dates?  Because she wanted texture, we took her same colors of moss green and Ecru and added fiber paper along with jute twine as the wrap around. Inside, her RSVP enclosure was in a moss color belly band. They just got married over the weekend so Congratulations to Karlee and Steve! Have a blast on your honeymoon!

Beatles theme invitations for Lennon

Happy birthday Lennon! His mommy wanted to make his 1st birthday very special by doing a Beatles theme party.  A great idea for baby Lennon!  I designed the invitations with a little inspiration from the Abbey Road Album cover with baby crawling.  And because it's so fitting, popular songs were incorporated onto the invitation.  I think they turned out well and it's going to be one fun party!

Chic black and white invitations

My cousin is getting married this December and I couldn't be happier for her and her fiance, David!  She is chic, classic, modern and a very talented graphic designer.  As a couple, they designed their invitations and it's STUNNING!  They are letterpressed on cotton paper and she was inspired to use the design which is actually the ceiling in the ballroom of the place they will be married!

The belly band is a black gingham ribbon adorned with a crystal framed brad and to finish the look, custom stamps where adhered to both outer envelope and the rsvp.  When I came home to visit, I was honored to help the assembly along with my other cousins.  It was such a great time, I wish we can do that more.  Being around crafty and talented people makes my heart flutter!            

Black and white is so sleek!  I know their wedding will be beautiful and I can't wait to be a part of it!  After receiving it the mail, I was drawn to my bedside...maybe because I'm inspired by the same colors!

Pink and Blue Wedding Invitations

I can't say it enough, but I truly love working within the family! They are just the sweetest and I'm flattered with the referral. My past bride, Britne referred her sister, Shannon to me and she couldn't be any easier to work with! The sweetness just runs in the family! She wanted to use watermelon and cerulean as their colors so we paired it with Envelopments' color dragonfly and fashionista.

Because she chose not to use pockets, we wrapped her flat card with a belly band instead and it housed her reception and direction inserts. This way everything is in tact and not loose in the envelope.


I'm a little late in my postings, but I just got pictures back from their wedding and I can't wait to share!
